Narrations v1

I love my wife and she loves me too, we have two lovely sons and the daughter.

We got married 10 years ago, and after we committed each other, we bought a house in the city, leaving behind our families to start our own.

One day my father informed me that he was planning to slaughter a cow ๐Ÿฎ for the ancestry function the following weekend.

Though we have demands at our own home ๐Ÿก but we still lend a hand when the need is arising to our both families hence I spoke with my wife that next weekend, we should head our way to home and participate on that function.

I asked her to draft list of the grocery items that will be required on the event. She welcomed my request and drafted a list ๐Ÿ“ƒ of grocery.

On Friday morning we took leaves from our respective working places to get enough time โŒš to buy those groceries from the shop.

We packed our bags ๐Ÿ› with clothing items that we will need for ourselves and kids ๐Ÿง’, and headed our ways to the shopping mall.

I picked up a trolley ๐Ÿ›’ and my wife picked items from the shelves according to the list ๐Ÿ“ƒ she drafted.

We spent almost 20 minutes at the shop and left for home. I am not familiar with the buying of groceries and staff because I believe that duty is for women, but I noticed that the food items on the trolley ๐Ÿ›’ was not full.

On our way I asked my wife if groceries were sufficient, she said yes groceries were suffice.

I trusted her I mean I was rather cautious of something that was not in my fields, my duty was to buy couple of bottles of whiskey ๐Ÿฅƒ and brandy and that was it.

We got home and everyone was happy, then there was a function on Saturday then on Sunday we came back to our home.

I called my mother and she thanked us about everything we had done, but she went on to say the only one thing she was not happy about is that some visitors couldnโ€™t eat because food ๐Ÿฒ supplies were not enough.

Just as I thought ๐Ÿ’ญ, I then confirmed that with my wife but she said all people had enough to eat, and there some left over that had to be disposed off, hence food ๐Ÿฒ supplies were enough. Again, I couldnโ€™t say much because this wasnโ€™t my field of expertise.

A month later, we also received the same invite from my I laws that theyโ€™d be conducting the same ancestry function.

My wife again prepared a grocery list ๐Ÿ“ƒ. On Friday we also took vacation leave for one day and we went to the shopping mall.

We spent almost two hours at the shop ๐Ÿช and I noticed that a trolley ๐Ÿ›’ was full to its capacity.

On our way I asked her that why the food ๐Ÿฒ supplies were relatively more than the previous function that was hosted at home ๐Ÿก, she said she couldnโ€™t able to get enough time โŒš to work out the previous list thoroughly anyway she managed to cater all the visitors.

We got to my in laws house, the following day: Saturday a function proceeded very well and on Sunday we came back to our home.

I then called my mother in law, she thanked me for us to participate on the function and said the food ๐Ÿฒ supplies were too much in such a way they had to give them away because her fridges were full.
