Nigeria honored Jacob Zuma

A bronze statue of Jacob Zuma was unveiled in Nigeria by Owelle Okorocha a governor of Nigeria’s Imo state on 15 October 2017.

The statue was erected to acknowledge the input Jacob Zuma has been made so far in South Africa and Africa as a whole.

Nigeria set a good example that African leaders should be recognized and honored in this manner.

It’s ironical to see statues of the individuals that contributed in the apartheid era still stand tall in the South African soil after 1994.
